7 Signs You Are Too Serious and It Is Killing the Attraction

I used to turn every interaction into something meaningful because light felt shallow. I learned play is the doorway to what is deep. Here are 7 signs.

1. Every date becomes a deep conversation about values and where this is going. She wanted tacos and a laugh.
2. She cracks a joke and you take it literally.
3. You turn a fun Saturday into a relationship check in.
4. She says ‘you are so intense’ and you take it as a compliment.
5. You cannot be playful, because somewhere being silly got you shut down.
6. You have not given her fun in weeks.
7. She wanted someone to be light with, and you turn ‘what do you want for dinner’ into a discussion about alignment.

Play is not shallow

Fun and play are not the absence of depth. A woman who laughs with you will often go deeper with you than one who only talks about feelings. You need to be both, and right now you may only be running one.
